Our Logo

The logo for the club, shown at the top-left of this page, was created by Mr Takitoa Taumoepeau, who is an avid golfer and supporter of the club, from Tonga.

According to Mr Taumoepeau, the design was an attempt to represent the features of the club.

A golfer is the central figure in the logo, and it is drawn on an over-sized golf ball which is in white but its dimples clearly shown.

The classic Tongan design of ‘Tokelau Feletoa’  is usually drawn on the surface of tapa cloth. However, in the logo, the designed is wrapped around to form a strong bond around the golfer and the ball. It does signifies the fact that the club was initially formed by golfers of Tongan ancestry who came together to play, socialize, and form a strong bond of friendship, which ultimately resulted in the formation of the club.

Outside the Tokelau Feletoa design, is the name of the club, and the flag of the two nations involved; Tonga and the United States of America.

The colors involved utilizes the color for Tonga (red & white), the United States (red, blue & white), and also the color for a green golf course.

Lastly, there is no boundary to bound the two flags which means that while the name says ‘Tonga’ and ‘USA’, the membership is not restricted to players from these two countries. Membership is open to any golfer from any race.
